Port of Fontvieille

When the new land (17 hectares reclaimed from the sea) was developed, part of it was dedicated to the creation of a marina. Situated at the foot of the Monaco Rock in its eastern part, the Fontvieille marina is certainly one of the best sheltered in the region, protected from easterly winds by the Rock and from southerly and westerly swells by the large seawall that protects the entire Fontvielle district. Right in the heart of the residential area of Fontvieille, the marina is a true marina, offering every convenience to visiting and permanent yachtsmen alike. This haven of peace can accommodate up to 275 boats with a maximum draught of 3 meters. Boaters have access to all the services required for the smooth running of a marina: water and electricity for each berth, as well as toilets and showers. Nearby are a shopping center, supermarkets, Monaco's heliport and the Stade Louis II sports complex. The many restaurants and shops lining the waterfront make the port of Fontvieille a lively place to be in any season.
