Everyone on stage!
The Café de Paris Monte-Carlo is one of those places that belong to everyone, but whose aura never fades. Since 1868, it has been the living balcony of the Place du Casino. A more accessible alternative to the glitz and glamour of the Casino and Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo : this is how François Blanc conceived the Café Divan. An open-air theater where people come for no particular reason, just to see... or be seen. People often stay longer than expected. Loyal Monegasques, visiting artists, discreet gamblers or vacationing families: here, worlds brush up against each other, look at each other and meet. This has always been the strength of the place: to welcome without distinction!
Change without erasing
Renovated many times, the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo underwent a new transformation in 2022, without sacrificing its identity. While the façade has regained its original curves, the establishment has grown in height, with the restaurant now extending over two light-filled levels. Inside, warm woodwork, terrazzo mosaics, checkerboard marble and stained-glass windows evoke Parisian and Milanese brasseries. Here and there, subtle nods to the Belle Époque, while at the entrance, a monumental chandelier alone embodies the spirit of this revival: contemporary elegance proud of its heritage.
A la carte terraces
At Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, the experience is as much outdoors as it is indoors. Set on the same level as the Place du Casino, the historic "lemonade terrace" remains a privileged vantage point for observing the Monegasque ballet . Upstairs, in the extension of the gastronomic area - the "Brasserie Chic" - a panoramic terrace overlooks palm trees and Belle Époque facades. And on the garden side, another more intimate terrace offers a more relaxed, leafy setting. Three terraces, three different worlds, plus the rooftop of the Amazónico Monte-Carlo, a tropical restaurant with a festive atmosphere.
Tradition in motion at the table
At Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, the plate tells a story of taste and loyalty. Crepe Suzette flambéed at the table - said to have been born here under the eyes of a future King of England - veal liver with parsley, andouillette, knife-cut tartare... the great classics of French brasserie are served here, with a Mediterranean touch. Under the leadership of chef Victor Marion, the menu evolves with the seasons, blending fresh produce, gourmet dishes and more plant-based offerings. Here, every dish celebrates a generous, attentive art of living, always on the move.
In short, Café de Paris Monte-Carlo is a lively and popular place, in the noblest sense of the word. A brasserie intimately Monegasque and open to the world.
