Collection of Cars of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco

A history of enthusiasts

At the end of the 1950s, Prince Rainier III, a car enthusiast, began collecting classic cars. Over the years, the collection grew and grew. After more than forty years of collecting and restoring his hundred or so vehicles, the Prince's Palace garage proved too small to contain his fleet: superb cars with monumental or sporty silhouettes, majestic bodies, gleaming hoods and royal grilles! In 1993, Prince Rainier III decided to unveil his treasures to the public. Prince Albert II continued to enrich the private collection.

The princely family's legendary cars

This exhibition allows visitors to step back in time and relive the history of the princely family. Unique pieces such as the Chrysler specially imported from the USA by Rainier III to pick up Princess Grace from the port are on display. There's also a Lexus with a glass cockpit at the rear, built for the princely wedding of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and H.S.H. Princess Charlene in 2011.

Immersed in the automotive world

From luxury cars to iconic models and racing cars, the vehicles on display epitomize pomp and engineering. From Hispano-Suiza to majestic Rolls-Royce, from racy Ferraris to daring Lamborghinis , from Maserati and Alfa Romeo to the more classic Renault 4CV and Citroën 2CV, this prestigious collection offers an immersion into the world of the automobile and the Principality's princely heritage.

Monegasque racing cars

A veritable temple to mechanical prestige, the museum brings together emblematic racing models: rally cars from the Paris-Dakar and Monte-Carlo Rallies rub shoulders with F1 single-seaters from the Monaco Grand Prix. Ferrari, Lotus, Mercedes, McLaren... these cars have shaped the legend of motorsport.

Whether you're a lover of fine mechanical engineering, a rally enthusiast or simply curious, this visit invites you to daydream in a modern, immersive space. A not-to-be-missed event, open to visitors all year round.

Enthusiasts will also appreciate discovering Top Marques , the international supercar show held every year in Monaco, under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II.
