La Condamine

Discover authentic Monaco and its local population at the La Condamine market, which stretches across the Place d'Armes. This wide esplanade is decorated every morning with stalls of delicately scented fruit, vegetables and fresh flowers, surrounded by shady arcades where you can enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat, while reading your newspaper.

This must-see spot for Monegasques boasts halls housing some twenty booths offering Monegasque, Italian, South-Western and even Asian specialties... conviviality, quality and diversity are the watchwords.

After this first stop, continue your stroll towards Rue Princesse Caroline (pedestrian zone), the ideal place to stroll, eat, shop or play with your children in the small square.

At the end of this street, you can admire the Port Hercule, originally a natural bay, and its yachts, with its large esplanade that hosts world-famous events such as the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo and the Monaco Yacht Show, as well as the fair in summer and autumn, and the Christmas village in winter. This is also where you'll find the Stade Nautique Rainier III and its heated seawater pool.

Just down the promenade, take a gourmet break in one of the many seafront restaurants, where you can extend your culinary pleasure with a musical evening. During the Formula 1 Grand Prix, this area is transformed into an open-air party zone.

Don't miss the legendary Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. You'll notice the red and white vibrators that help drivers see where the limit of the track is during the race. You can put yourself in the drivers' shoes by positioning yourself on the starting grid at the "Casino" supermarket, and contemplate the legendary Chicane and La Rascasse bends.

Finally, the new setting for the Collection of Cars of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco inaugurated on July 8, 2022, will take you back in time to relive the highlights of the princely family's history, with unique pieces such as the Chrysler that Prince Rainier III had specially flown in from the United States to pick up Princess Grace from the port, or the Lexus with its glass cockpit at the rear, built for the princely wedding of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and H.S.H. Princess Charlene in 2011.
