When you arrive in the Principality, your eyes will naturally be drawn to the Rock and its fortress. So it's only natural that your steps should lead you to the Place du Palais, where the changing of the Carabinieri Guard takes place every day at precisely 11.55am.
The Prince's PalaceThe Prince's Palace, built in the 13th century and remodelled during the Renaissance. The guardian of a centuries-old tradition, with its Italian gallery and 16th-century frescoes, the Palace reveals some of its splendour to visitors following major renovation work completed in the summer of 2022.

Jardins Saint Martin, laid out around 1830 under the reign of Prince Honoré V, where children can enjoy a play area in the shade of the umbrella pines.
Monaco CathedralMonaco Cathedral, where Princess Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III said "YES" to each other and now rest in peace in the building's crypt. Nearby is Monaco's Palace of Justice.
Oceanographic MuseumThe Oceanographic Museum is one of the Principality's architectural marvels. Built in 1910 under the aegis of HSH Prince Albert 1st, this oceanographic institute, also known as the "Temple of the Sea", was for many years directed by Captain Cousteau. Dedicated to underwater research, the museum boasts the world's largest coral reef: 400 cubic metres of water, hammerhead sharks, majestic rays evolving in front of a coral reef populated by a multitude of tropical fish and live coral (the shark lagoon, the only one of its kind in the world). The latest innovations include a turtle pool to be built in 2019 and a 360° interactive room for total immersion in the marine world. "Monaco Tours. These little trains in the national colours take passengers on a daily guided tour of Port Hercule, Monte Carlo and its Palaces, the famous Casino and its gardens, before returning to the old town with its ramparts and the Prince's Palace. Open Air Cinema. In the style of American drive-ins, you can watch films of the moment projected directly onto a large screen in their original version, all under the stars. A snack bar will enhance your experience.
The 275m²Skate Park overlooks the sea and offers great curves and ramps for maximum thrills!
Continuing towards Port Hercule, you'll come across the photo spot that could be compared to the "Dubai frame", a giant frame with Port Hercule and the Monte-Carlo district in the background. It faces the Pavillon Bosio, the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Plastiques.
Fort Antoine offers a splendid panoramic view and hosts shows and plays from time to time, depending on the programme.
The Chapelle de la Visitation museum is housed in a baroque-style chapel dating from the 17th century. It houses part of Mrs Piasecka Johnson's remarkable collection of sacred art, including masterpieces by Rubens, Zurbaran, Ribera and the Italian Baroque masters. In Place de la Visitation, you will be surrounded by political institutions: the Ministry of State, the National Council and the Town Hall are just a few steps away. To enter the heart of the Rock, take the picturesque little streets paved with numerous little souvenir shops and restaurants. On the way you'll see the Irish Library. Princess GraceIrish Library"which is packed with works by Irish authors in tribute to Princess Grace's Irish origins. It also contains books from the Princess's personal/private collection.
