This historic staircase is the oldest, most direct – but also the most challenging – route up the Rock. With its stone arches, orange cobblestones and ancient doors, this time-honoured path offers the perfect setting for photos that are sure to cause a stir on your social media, with some truly striking views.

From certain angles, you’ll be able to capture Monte-Carlo and the Mediterranean Sea in the background, creating a striking contrast between ancient stone, modernity and azure blue.
