The Monaco le Grand Tour panoramic bus offers a circular route lasting around an hour, ideal for taking in the Principality’s cultural, historical and natural heritage at a glance. From Monaco-Ville to the Larvotto district via Monte-Carlo, the route passes through iconic landmarks such as the Prince's Palace , the Place du Casino de Monte-Carlo , Port Hercule, the Princess Grace Rose Garden or the Larvotto Beach.
On board, this double-decker bus – with its large windows and open-air upper deck – offers sweeping views of Monaco, whilst an audio guide shares stories and anecdotes at every stop. Here is the Place du Palais, whose architecture bears witness to the splendour of the Grimaldi family. There, below, are the picturesque alleyways of La Condamine, with their houses featuring pastel-coloured shutters. Further on lies the majestic Belle Époque façade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Also on the itinerary is the legendary Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. Thanks to the Hop On Hop Off system, passengers are free to get on and off at any of the 12 stops along the route, allowing them to create their own itinerary.

Sustainable transport: exploring Monaco the easy way
From the south-west to the north-east, seven main districts make up the territory of Monaco: Fontvieille, the Exotic Garden, La Condamine, Monaco-Ville (Le Rocher), Mareterra, Monte-Carlo and the Larvotto. All feature pedestrian-friendly facilities: the city’s terrain and its various stretches along the coast have necessitated the construction of lifts, staircases and pedestrianised streets, to make walking around more pleasant and safer. Today, nearly 90 lifts, 35 escalators and 8 moving walkways – not to mention a public transport network (buses and water buses) and a self-service electric bike scheme – symbolise the Principality’s policy of sustainable mobility.
