The popular La Condamine market is about to undergo a major transformation, with temporary closure scheduled for January 2026 for modernization work. The aim is to preserve its convivial spirit, while improving comfort for shopkeepers and visitors alike. The new venue promises to offer a more modern, practical and attractivespace, while remaining true to its authenticâme. Reopening scheduled for early 2027! During the renovation period, the Place d'Armes will continue to be used as a Christmas market.

Reopening of the Exotic Garden

Exotic Garden is set to amaze visitors once again when it reopens its doors to the public at the end of summer 2025. Perched between sky and sea, this emblematic site, home to around a thousand cacti and other succulent species, will once again unveil its botanical treasures and breathtaking panoramas over the Mediterranean and the Principality. Inaugurated in 1933, the garden is renowned for being "the world's largest succulent rock garden", and is currently undergoing work to secure the cliff. This is a great opportunity to restore the site to its former glory, by completely refurbishing and renovating it, to the delight of visitors.

Espace Léo Ferré moves to the îlot Pasteur

he new , ultra-modern performance space will enhance Monaco's cultural offering in September 2025. Located in the heart of the îlot Pasteur and designed for all types of events, it will be equipped with the latest audiovisual technologies. An ideal venue for concerts, conferences, congresses or private events! Musicians beware: an integrated recording studio will welcome novices and seasoned musicians, local and international, in the best possible conditions. As has been the case for many years, this hall will also be a focal point for organizing cultural events such as the National Day celebrations.

New Caroline media library

A modern facility also located on the îlot Pasteur, offering 2,000 m² of space, including 1,200 m² for public use, complemented by a modular auditorium capable of hosting cultural events of all kinds: these are the first elements of the new media library that locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy by the end of 2025. The name? "Médiathèque Caroline", "in connection with Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Hanover, who supports culture in all its forms in the Principality", as mayor Georges Marsan explains. And since January 1, 2025, membership of the Médiathèque has been free for all! This initiative gives everyone, local or visitor, unlimited access to a wide range of cultural and educational resources.
