1 Tour of Cap d'Antibes

The Cap d'Antibes is a 5-kilometre, 2-hour walk along the Mediterranean coast. The route combines limestone cliffs, deep coves and prestigious villas nestling in green oases of Aleppo pines, centuries-old olive trees and exotic species. The tour ends with a visit to Villa Eilenroc and its beautifully landscaped gardens, before a leisurely drive back to La Garoupe along the narrow roads inland from the cape.

2. Nice Nice is a must-see on the Riviera, famous for its Promenade des Anglais and its tall palm trees. Nice is packed with vibrant neighbourhoods and cultural venues. Take a stroll along Place Masséna, to admire its red facades and bronze statues, then continue on to Cours Saleya, a lively pedestrian esplanade lined with restaurants, hosting food and flower markets every morning. Along the way, you'll discover the Rue Obscure, a shady medieval passageway, all the way to the panoramic path of the Madone Noire. Finish your walk in style with a swim at Plage des Marinières, a gravel beach over 700 metres long.

4. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat An old fishing village, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat offers 10 km of coastal paths with exceptional panoramic views, perfect for beautiful walks or water sports. The Tour du Cap Ferrat is a walk around the peninsula offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Superbly laid-out gardens stand side by side with lush natural flora, between limestone cliffs and sharp reefs. Allow around two hours for this family hike. For a cultural activity, visit La Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a sumptuous palace surrounded by nine gardens overlooking the Mediterranean.

5. Menton Close to the Italian border, Menton enjoys a pleasant climate that attracts visitors all year round. The town is famous for its colourful houses, festivities and museums. The old town, with its narrow streets and ochre facades, is reminiscent of the Italian dolce vita.
