THE RAINIER III ANIMAL GARDEN - Fontvieille district The Rainier III Animal Garden is a captivating place where nature and wildlife meet in harmony on the slopes of the famous Rocher, overlooking the Port of Fontvieille. LE JARDIN DE L'UNESCO - Fontvieille district Overlooking the Port of Fontvieille, the UNESCO Garden represents a harmonious balance between nature and culture. Designed with Mediterranean plant species and contemporary works of art including "Et le septième jour" by Alessandro Montalbano 1995, "Grande baigneuse accroupie" by Antoine Bourdelle and "Grand Ours" by F.X. Lalanne 1992, this is an open-air exhibition. This garden is a calm and relaxing place, well known to the locals who, when the fine weather arrives, like to take their lunch break here to the enchanting sound of the many fountains.
