Discover the Fontvieille district with Captain' Game!
Whether with family or friends, this unique trail offers a fresh way to (re)discover the Fontvieille district and its harbour via a 2.5 km route, 10 checkpoints to find, and answers to stamp.
Leaflets for the game are available at the harbour master’s offices of both ports, the Oceanographic Museum, the Tourist Office and the Wildlife Park.
This game forms part of the “Port Propre Actif en Biodiversité” (Clean Port Active in Biodiversity) certification obtained in 2020 by the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco (SEPM).
The partnership, initiated in 2014 between the Maritime Affairs Department, the Environment Department, the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco (SEPM) and the company Ecocéan, has just been renewed for a further four years until 2027. With the Yacht Club de Monaco joining this project, 79 new nurseries known as “Biohuts” have just been installed across the Principality’s two ports.
To complement this project, which contributed to SEPM obtaining the ‘Port Propre Actif en Biodiversité’ certification in 2020, highlighting its commitment to promoting local biodiversity within the port and its catchment area, the “Captain Game” was installed on 2 March 2023 near the harbour master’s office at the Port of Fontvieille.
It’s your turn to play!
