Enjoy a melodious summer in the Principality
The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra , conducted by Kazuki Yamada, has announced its program for the 24/25 season. The program promises to be eclectic, featuring great names in classical music, promising young talents, and tribute concerts celebrating the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth and the 50th anniversary of Shostakovich's death. The OPMC retains its now unmissable concepts such as Musical Happy Hour, Young Audience/Family Concerts, Spiritual Concerts and its "Mozart in Monaco" festival, which will return for a 4th edition.
The Opéra de Monte-Carlo , under the artistic direction of Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli, unveils its program for the 24/25 season with 14 productions, including 5 operas on stage and 3 in concert version. The season kicks off at the end of October with a festival in tribute to the centenary of Giacomo Puccini's death, including a series of four must-see events.
The Grimaldi Forum is not to be outdone, with concerts featuring exceptional artists such as pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, for a recital on June 27, and Italian singer Zucchero on July 9.

To kick off this 2024 edition, the stars of French chanson will set the Monegasque stage alight on July 6 as part of their Stars 80 tour. The legendary troupe will perform to mark the 20th anniversary of the Fight Aids Monaco association. The great names of music will then take it in turns to light up the Principality's nights throughout the summer, from Sam Smith on July 9 to Diana Krall on July 16, to a double performance by Lenny Kravitz on August 15 and 16. And for the first time, the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival will welcome a comedian, and not the least, as stand-up superstar, actor and presenter Trevor Noah will take to the stage at the Sporting for an unforgettable show on July 29!
Orchestre Philarmonique de Monte-Carlo (OPMC) brings its expertise to the heart of the Cour d'Honneur of the Prince's Palace for performances like no other. The idea, born in 1959, revives an age-old tradition of the Grimaldi family. The orchestra settles between the two arms of the 17th-century staircase, and the magic happens in an instant. The summer season opens on July 11 with pianist Alexandre Kantorow, conducted by James Gaffigan. A series of seven concerts under the stars promises magical moments in a historic venue.
