- Rainier III Water Sports Stadium at Port Hercule: . As the locals call it, "the Port swimming pool" will surprise you right in the middle of the Principality! Situated at the foot of the Rock, surrounded by Monaco's famous Formula 1 racetrack and the luxury yachts peacefully moored along the quayside, the 'Port Pool' is a real eye-catcher. It's ideal for visitors with families, thanks to its proximity to all the facilities (transport, supermarkets, etc.), its heated seawater and its facilities for young people (slide, diving boards, etc.).
Beaches and private beaches
- Larvotto beach complex With its shaded promenade, vast public beach, shops and restaurants, the Larvotto seaside complex appeals to young and old, locals and visitors alike, whether you're a fan of lazing around or looking for a refreshing dip! As well as all these amenities, Larvotto is also home to a 14-hectare marine protected area, which is home to a wealth of local fauna and is a veritable laboratory for scientists.
For over ten years, the Larvotto public beach has had a Handiplage site, an organisation set up with the help of the Soroptimist association. The site is open to people with disabilities and reduced mobility, enabling them to enjoy the pleasures of swimming. Young handiplagists welcome and look after people with reduced mobility during their swim.
Take advantage of the Larvotto resort's private beaches. You'll be spoilt for choice with Le Neptune, La Note Bleue, Le Miami Plage and Falco Beach, the festive new addition to the Rose des Vents recently taken over by businessman Flavio Briatore (who also owns Twiga, Billionaire, Cipriani, Crazy Pizza and Cova). Each venue offers a unique concept, allowing you to enjoy your meals to the gentle sound of the waves on the shore.
- The Solarium beach: Located on the Rainier III breakwater in Port Hercule, the Solarium beach offers access to the sea via ladders, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet in the heart of the Principality. Please note that this area is deep and therefore only suitable for good swimmers.
- Crique des pêcheurs (Fishermen's cove): A favourite with connoisseurs, this cove is perfect for those who want to swim with the Mediterranean as their only backdrop! People also come here to enjoy the waves lapping against the pebbles. Be warned, though: in very rough seas, access is forbidden and very dangerous.
- Méridien Beach Plaza: Monaco's only seaside resort with a private beach directly linked to the hotel, perfect for a relaxing day on the beach or in the pool.

Summer sports courses for youngsters aged 6 to 15 include sailing, snorkelling, stand-up paddle, kayaking and raid trips in semi-rigid boats. A great way to sail the Monegasque waters and learn about the marine environment.

- Fishing: Recreational and leisure fishing in Monaco is subject to regulations, and the Monegasque Federation of Sport Fishing has produced a free-access map to guide you to the accessible fishing zones. (Green areas are accessible without restriction, with the exception of the Solarium area). Underwater fishing, however, requires special authorisation from the Maritime and Airport Police Division.
