Printemps des Arts Monte-Carlo

Spring may start on 20 March, but the Printemps des Arts Monte-Carlo has already begun! March'sflagship event runs from 2 March to 27 April, and there are a number of highlights to mark this cultural rendezvous, which this year celebrates the memory of composer and conductor Pierre Boulez. Highlights include a concert by the all-female Akilone Quartet on 15 March, a performance by theBBC Symphony Orchestra on 22 and 23 March, and 3 ballets performed by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo from 23 to 27 April. An eclectic programme featuring over 40 composers and 80 works performed by some 400 artists!

The Serenissima of the Humour

At the Grimaldi Forum, the 19th edition of the Sérénissimes de l'Humour promises some exceptional moments from 12 to 15 March. On stage, renowned artists Philippe Lellouche (March 12), Michel Boujenah (March 13) and Bun Hay Mean (March 15) will be performing hilarious one-man shows. As every year, a special evening will be devoted to the rising stars ofFrench comedy with Le Comedy des Sérénissimes, on 14 March. It's a chance to share a few laughs with the new generation of comedians!

Theatre, humour and musique at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco

True to its reputation, the Grimaldi Forum hosts a wide range of cultural events. After two performances of Jules Verne's masterpiece, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, on 1 and 2 March, the venue will host the great contemporary comedy "On ne paie pas! On March 18.

On the music front, music lovers can get carried away by the haunting melodies of Francis of Delirium on 20 March, before rocking out to the rhythm of Pascal Obispo's hits on 1 April.

Théâtre Princesse Grace

The Théâtre Princesse Grace is offering an eclectic programme in March. The month kicks off with Yasmina Reza 's iconic play 'Art' on 6 March, followed by the Shakespearean classic 'Richard III' on 11 March.

On 13 March, there's a philosophical interlude, in partnership with Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, on the theme of "Dialogues, clivages & conflits".

Finally, on 27 March, suspense and mystery will be the order of the day with "Piège pour un homme seul", a breathtaking detective comedy by Robert Thomas.

Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra

Fancy an afternoon of film and concert? TheOrchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo is offering a special screening of Charlot fait une cure and Charlot garçon de théâtre at theAuditorium Rainier-III on 9 March.

Finally, the Orchestra will pay a grandiose tribute to Ravel in a symphonic concert featuring one of the greatest pianists, Nelson Goerner, on 27 March.

Monte-Carlo Opera

After a lyrical concert dedicated to Wagner, "Tristan and Isolde", on 2 March at theAuditorium Rainier-III, theOpéra de Monte-Carlo will be offering a choral concert dedicated to Monteverdi, "Vespers of the Virgin", in Monaco Cathedral on 14 March.

The month of March will be rounded off in style with four exceptional performances of works by Ravel: the musical "L'Heure Espagnole" and the lyrical fantasy "L'Enfant et les Sortilèges" on 21, 23, 25 and 27 March.

Smakelijk Comedy Club

Le Méridien Beach Plaza is banking onhumour by hosting a comedy club in its Belgian brasserie Smakelijk. Launched in November, thecomedy event has already welcomed renowned artists such as Alex Vizorek, Lorenzo Mancini and Nikoz, all key figures on the Belgian comedy scene.

The March line-up includes P.E., Sacha Ferra and Sarah Lélé. A 100% Belgian line-up that promises unforgettable evenings!

AS Monaco Basket

The final sprint has begun, on both the national and continental stage! The month of March will see a string of major fixtures.

The Roca Team will take on two of its biggest French rivals, when it hosts Paris(9 March) and Lyon-Villeurbanne(23 March), respectively 2nd and 4th in the Betclic Elite.

In the Euroleague,AS Monaco Basket will take on some formidable opponents: Fenerbahçe(20 March) and Kaunas(25 March). And that's not all! A top-of-the-table clash awaits them in April when they host Greek giants Panathinaikos on 3 April.

An electric Côte d'Azur derby! On Saturday 29 March, the Red and Whites will welcome their neighbours from Nice for a thrilling clash between two of Ligue 1's top teams.

Gastronomy is in the spotlight all year round in Monaco, with its Michelin-starred restaurants, prestigious establishments and exceptional culinary events.

On 21 March, Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, Yannick Alléno' s* restaurant, will be offering a refined dinner in collaboration with the prestigious Château de Beaucastel.
