Marché de la Condamine: the gourmet soul of Monaco

An emblematic market hall in Monaco

Since it opened in 1880, the Marché de la Condamine has continued to evolve while retaining its unique character. A true crossroads of life, it welcomes residents, shopkeepers and visitors every day in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Under the market hall, the colourful stalls are brimming with fruit, vegetables, cheeses, cold meats, flowers... all the best the Mediterranean has to offer. Just a stone's throw from Port Hercule, it's the epitome of Monegasque culture.

The Condamine market is an experience in itself. The Halle gourmande also has food counters where you can enjoy local specialitieson the go: barbagiuans, socca, pissaladière... So many recipes that remind us that Monaco is also a land of popular gastronomy.

A place to live and meet people

At La Condamine, people don't just come to shop. They come to take their time. Time for a coffee on the terrace, a quick lunch or a chat with the producers. A veritable theatre of everyday life, Place d'Armes is also the setting for a host of events throughout the year: traditional festivals, gourmet events, concerts, civic get-togethers... Like an echo of the major tourist sites that surround it - from the Jardin Exotique to the F1 circuit, not forgetting Port Hercule - this emblematic site invites you to discover the flavours... and the people.

Whether you're a lover of fresh produce, curious to discover local flavours or simply keen to immerse yourself in thewarm atmosphere of the Principality, the market is a key player in neighbourhood life, a link between past and future. It reflects the authenticity of Monaco, a blend of gourmet traditions and forward-looking projects.
