Concerts - "Macy Gray - Leon Phal"
Saturday 25 November 2023, at 8 pm, Opéra de Monte-Carlo - Salle Garnier
Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival 2023: Two concerts with Macy Gray - Leon Phal and STRESS KILLER! Macy Gray has established herself as one of contemporary soul's leading figures, with her unique voice and diverse influences, most notably her idol Billie Holiday. / Léon Phal is not one for precisely blackened scores, instead preferring the inspiration of the moment. The sort that comes when he sits in his studio, contemplating the mixers like an electro or hip-hop producer, surrounded by the core group of musicians who make up his quintet, all tuned to the same wavelength. Exactly the inspiration behind their last two albums, and Stress Killer.
