The DTC, represented by its Director-General, Mr. Guillaume Rose, organised a road show in Romania, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic in association with Atout France
Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority held a road show in Central Europe with Atout France from 10 to 13 June 2013.
The Destination's touristic partners (the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, represented by Mrs. Anne-Marie Pinsault, and the Welcome Travel Team (WTT) Agency, represented by Mr. Andreas Tholken), were present.
The whole operation was based on presentations and meetings with the specialised and general press of each capital, as well as with tourism professionals (both Leisure and Business).
In Budapest, a major evening event organised by the Chivas Luxury Club attracted almost 150 high-end Hungarian guests. The Ambassador of France in Budapest was present at the event.
A meeting was held in Vienna, followed by a presentation for the press, a training seminar on Destination Monaco, as well as a presentation for tourism professionals, concluded by a workshop.
The operation in Prague was an opportunity to meet numerous representatives from the press, and tourism professionals.
These presentations were a great success, both with the various press bodies and with tourism professionals, for whom Monaco is now well and truly on the map of potential destinations in terms of business and leisure tourism.
