The 23rd Pizza World Championship was held in Parma, Italy, from 7 to 9 April 2014. More than 600 competitors from 35 countries all over the world took part in this event.
Giovanni Pignieri and Tommaso Rosolia, chef and demi-chef de partie at the Monte-Carlo Beach, were the brilliant first prize winners in the "Best Overseas Pizzeria" category. They impressed the jury with their "Parmigiana Biologica," a pizza with 100% organic ingredients. The winning pizza will feature on the menu at the Cabanas and Sea Lounge during the 2014 season.
