With a Swedish mother and a Filipino
father, Caligagan is an artist with many different roots, shared between
several cultures.
Around ten years ago, he decided to leave
his native Sweden and set off for Italy, where he met his two future travelling
companions - Enrico Calandrelli (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Leo Giannola (solo
guitar). They then decided to
create an all-guitar band, and set the first songs that Caligagan had composed
for several years to music.
A citizen of the world, refreshing us with his
voice, which has been shaped by his musical conquests, Caligagan takes us on a
journey across several continents ...
This universality gives the group the legitimacy
to present its peaceful message, with lyrics that promote love and respect
between people. "Give to
get" is its philosophy.
