Gala of the Princess Grace of Monaco Academy
Students of the Academy are presenting their show on 16 and 17 May 2013 at the Monte-Carlo Opera
The students will show the full range of their talent through extracts of classical and contemporary dance and flamenco and will give a glimpse of the dream they're cherishing – to join a major dance company at the end of their training.
On the programme:
- "Don Quixote" - Choreography by Michel Rahn, music by Ludwig Minkus.
- "Flamenco" - Choreography by Isabel Romero.
- "Serenade" - Choreography by George Balanchine, music: Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovsky, restaged by Nanette Glushak.
- "Dov'è la Luna" - Choreography by Jean-Christophe Maillot, music: Alexandre Scriabine.
- "In Memoriam" - Choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, music by Filetta.
