On 23 and 24 June 2018, the former
"fiefs" of the Grimaldi of Monaco will be welcomed at a
"meeting" held under the pines in the Place du Palais Princier.From Saturday 23 June to Sunday 24 June, from 12.00 pm Place du Palais
These "meetings" will be held every year on
the feast day of St John.
At this first "meeting," the Marquisate of
Les Baux and the County of Carlades will be received, in honour of Hereditary
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. The city of Menton, which was part of the Principality for
five centuries, will also be on the guest list for 2018.
During these two days, our hosts will present the
history that links them to the Principality of Monaco and the Grimaldi dynasty,
as well as their cultural heritage and craft skills.
In the afternoons, visitors will be able to enjoy:
- Folk dancing
- Cultural shows
- Workshops and sales of products
- Activities for children
- A new demonstration: "Behourd fights"
- And to make the event exceptional: a sound & light show
