Peace and Sport will hold the 12th edition of its
International Forum in Monaco with this year’s focus being
on “Investing in Peace, Acting through Sport”. From Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 December 2019, One Monte Carlo
It will highlight the role
of youth and the private sector in exploring how business and creativity can
contribute to cultivate stability and secure the conditions for peace. This
edition will mark the 10th anniversary of the Champions for Peace club, paying
tribute to 10 years of commitment of more than 100 high-level athletes in presence
of football legend Didier Drogba, marathon world record holder Paula
Radcliffe, double Olympic gold medalist and three-time World pole vault
champion Yelena Isinbaeva, 2018 football world champion Blaise Matuidi,
1998 football world champion Christian Karembeu, boxing world champion
Sarah Ourahmoune, athletics olympic medallist Charmaine Crooks, sprint
world and olympic champion Yohan Blake, taekwondo Olympic medalist Marlène
Harnois and many more fascinating Champions for Peace.
