Family Workshops at the New National Museum, Monaco

A new way to discover the Kasper Akhøj exhibition "Welcome (To The Teknival)" at the Villa Sauber

Until 7 January 2017, the New National Museum, Villa Sauber, is offering an original way to discover the Kasper Akhøj exhibition "Welcome (To The Teknival)" at the Villa Sauber.

Family Workshops

Every Sunday morning, at 11.30 a. m., the New National Museum of Monaco is holding seasonal family workshops on the theme of "Conduct an Investigation!"

This autumn, there is a trail game in the form of a police investigation, in which Kasper Akhøj's photographs must be combined with Eileen Gray's plans for the Villa E-1027 to recreate a fictional scenario.

Workshops for Young People (Autumn School Holidays)

In connection with Kasper Akhøj's exhibition "Welcome (To The Teknival") at the Villa Sauber, the NMNM is holding a workshop for young people on creating comic strips.

The children will conduct an imaginary investigation in Eileen Gray's Villa E-1027 and will illustrate their report after learning various comic book techniques.

Choose from two identical sessions:  Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 October or Thursday 2 and Friday 3 November 2017

Age of the children:  8-14, opening times from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Lunchtime at the Museum

Every Tuesday, between 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m., admission is free and there are guided tours.

During the lunch break, make the most of the gardens of the villas to relax, drink a cup of coffee, then visit the Museum (during exhibition periods).

Every week, there is a focus on a work on display inside or outside the villas – an opportunity to spend 10 minutes or more finding out about a work, an artist, a book or even an entire exhibition, if time permits
