As part of "The Mystery of the Church" training course
Lecture by Abbot Sylvain Brison - The Church is Apostolic
Thursday 17 May from 8 pm to 10 pm Eglise Saint-Charles - Salle Paroissiale
In the Symbol of Nicaea-Constantinople, faith in the Church is described
by four characteristics - unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity. These theological points are more than
just qualifiers – they establish decisive criteria for perceiving the Church beyond
any other form of collective life.
Each theme will be explored in turn in four lectures, and will
be situated in the tradition of the Church and also in the challenge of our
time. This is a journey that is both
fundamental and yet still topical on the intelligence of faith.
