Albert II, marks World Children's Day celebrating the anniversary of the International Convention adopted by the United Nations on 20 November 1989.
This year, on Tuesday 20 November 2018, the public will be given the opportunity to familiarise themselves once again with Children's Rights, from 16 November onwards. The Monaco Department of Education, Youth and Sport will be organising a number of activities with partner associations, including several stands to raise public awareness.
Many Monegasque traders are already actively supporting World Children's Day through the "Piggy Bank for Children's Rights" initiative, with all of the funds raised donated to 11 Monegasque humanitarian associations working for children around the world.
On the evening of 20 November, the Eugénie Andrin company will be performing "Issue", a contemporary dance show.
