The 17th Golden Foot Award Monaco will take place on 12 November in the Salle d’Or of the Hôtel
Fairmont, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II.
Created in 2003, the Golden Foot is awarded to current footballers aged under 28 for their sporting performance, personality or popularity with the public and football experts.
The winner is selected from a shortlist of ten names put together by a panel of international journalists, and voted for online by fans on the Golden Foot website. The winner is invited to leave a footprint on the Monte-Carlo Promenade of Champions, following in the footsteps of some of the biggest names in football, including legends such as Di Stéfano, Pelé, Eusebio, Maradona, Beckenbauer, and George
Best.
