22nd Historic Monte-Carlo Rally

С среда 30 января по среда 6 февраля 2019
It's the quest for the Holy Grail!

The Organising Committee of the Automobile Club de Monaco is keen for the 2019 Rally to be more spectacular than ever, with this year's event set to include the regularity zones that have produced some of the event's greatest highlights!  From Wednesday 30 January to Wednesday 6 February 2019, Principauté de Monaco

This 22nd Historic Monte-Carlo Rally once again promises a host of surprises, beginning with the returns of Milan and Athens as starting cities.

Even more competitors will be vying for victory this year, as they look to succeed Gianmaria Aghem and Diego Cumino, winners of the 2018 edition with the Lancia Fulvia Coupe 1200.

Just three dats after the finish of the 87th Monte-Carlo Rally, the competitors qualified to race in this 22nd Historic Monte-Carlo Rally will have to contend with an equally demanding course. As usual, the Historic version of the rally is reserved for cars that took part in the Monte-Carlo Rally between 1955 and 1980. In order to give every entrant a fair chance of success, once again in 2019 there will be three averages to be respected throughout the race.

This 22nd edition will start on Wednesday 30 January, with the first concentration leg departing from Athens (1497 km / 12.40 pm) and Glasgow (2149 km / 6 pm). On Friday 1 February, there will be starts in Bad Homburg (1165 km / 2 pm), Milan (840 km /6 pm), Barcelona (928 km / 7 pm), Reims (940 km / 7 pm) and Monte-Carlo (729 km / 8 pm). The destination will be Buis-les-Baronnies, in the heart of Provence. A rally point that the first competitors will reach on Saturday 2 February from 10 am. The concentration leg will, however, be far from over, as the teams will then need to take on the two first regularity zones well known to specialists of this event: "Montauban-sur-l’Ouvèze – Saint-André-de-Rosans / ZR 1 / 49 km / 10.30 am" and "La Motte-Chalancon – Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert / ZR 2 / 22 km / 12.10 km". To close this concentration stage, the final time check of the day is scheduled to take place in Crest at 2.45 pm, before heading on to the city of Valence in the Drôme, where the first runners are expected on the Champ de Mars from 3.10 pm.
