В Монако состоится концерт Натали Дессей 14 ноября 2014

Натали Дессей исполняет партию Клеопатры в опере Генделя «Юлий Цезарь в Египте».

Исключительное сочетание сопрано Натали Дессей и мастерства дирижера Эммануеля Аима под музыку Генделя под стать исполнять только на легендарных сценах, к каковым относится сцена оперного зала Монте-Карло.

Как никогда Генделя вдохновила персоналия королевы Египта. Великолепная барочная песня играет и резонирует, отражаясь от позолоты зала Гарнье оперы Монте-Карло, повинуясь движениям смычка Эммануэля Аима и аккомпанемент оркестра d'Astrée, в такт голоса Натали Дессей и тенора-альтино Кристофа Дюма.

Giulio Cesare at the Monte-Carlo Opera

Nathalie Dessay and Christophe Dumaux take the leading roles in Giulio Cesare, accompanied by the Concert d'Astrée conducted by Emmanuelle Haïm

A production featuring soprano Natalie Dessay, conductor Emmanuelle Haïm and Handel's music is a magical combination that cannot be ignored by the leading opera houses.

The highlight of this collaboration was without doubt soprano Natalie Dessay's role as Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare on stage at the Paris Opera three years ago.

The multi-faceted personality of the Queen of Egypt inspired Handel like nothing before.  This role features an exceptional number of arias, some technically demanding, some lyrical and some ethereal.

Under the baton of Emmanuelle Haïm, accompanied by Le Concert d’Astrée, Handel's Baroque bel canto will ring out in the gilded splendour of the Salle Garnier, magnificently performed by Natalie Dessay and countertenor Christophe Dumaux.
