Second round of Monaco International Musical Fireworks Competition
On Sunday 27 July 2014, Spain – first prize winner in 2013 – will compete in the “Winners’ Final”
Every five years, the winning fireworks companies from previous years compete against each other.
On Sunday 27 July, starting at 10 pm, the skies will be given over to Spain’s Pirotecnia Zaragozana as they present their 25-minute artistic display from Quai Rainier III (the semi-floating seawall).
A pre-fireworks concert will be held in the Exotic Garden (Jardin Exotique), starting at 8.30 pm and featuring the TralaLive quartet (favourites from the worlds of classical music, jazz and French chanson, rearranged for three acoustic guitars and a violin).
An after-fireworks concert is planned for 10.30 pm at Port de Monaco, featuring the group Mister Noise.
