A New Restaurant in Monaco – The "Cantinetta Antinori"

Publication date: 17/01/2018
Riccardo Giraudi has just opened a new restaurant, the Cantinetta Antinori, on the Avenue Princesse Grace

History

The history of the Cantinetta Antinori began in 1957 in Florence, when the first establishment opened in the Palazzo Antinori, one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture of the mid 15th century.

Cantinetta Antinori is a concept designed by the Antinori, an historic Florentine family that has been producing wine for 600 years, or 26 generations.

Today, Cantinetta Antinori is a hotspot
of Tuscan gastronomy in European cities such as Zurich, Vienna and Moscow.

 Philosophy

At the Cantinetta Antinori, a wide selection of Marchesi Antinori wines is offered by the bottle or the glass, to be enjoyed with Tuscan culinary specialities prepared with ingredients from the Antinori family's various properties in Tuscany and Umbria.
The philosophy of the Antinori family is absolute respect for the traditions, territory and rhythms of the countryside.
The cuisine is seasonal, to showcase the produce at its best.  The quality and simplicity of the flavours are combined with the pure refinement of Tuscan cuisine, making the Cantinetta Antinori a place of conviviality and sharing.

In Monaco, the Cantinetta Antinori will be open from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. 7 days a week and will offer menus and dishes to suit all times of the day.
For breakfast, there are organic eggs in all their forms - poached, scrambled, in omelettes ... Accompanied by smoked salmon, avocado, or goat's cheese.
For a sweet tooth, there are connetto stuffed with granola or Bircher muesli with cinnamon.
At lunchtime, three menu options are offered, all served with a glass of Antinori's house wine, as well as à la carte dishes.
In the evening, there's a wide selection of antipasti and dishes, such as crispy octopus on puréed potatoes or mixed crostini followed by pappardelli with Tuscan beef stew, escalope of veal with lemon or tagliata of beef fillet with rosemary potatoes …
