The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Disney are increasing their cooperation and are organizing a private film screening on 12 January
Ten years ago, a little clownfish won the hearts of millions of viewers all over the world. To celebrate this anniversary, Le Monde de Nemo (Finding Nemo) is returning to the screens on 16 January - for the first time in 3D!
For the occasion, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, in collaboration with its American branch and the Consulate General of Monaco in New York, is associating itself with Disney Pixar's film with the aim of familiarizing children and adults with the underwater world and the protection of the oceans.
3D Premiere of Le Monde de Nemo (Finding Nemo) in Monaco
A private screening of the film Le Monde de Nemo (Finding Nemo) in 3D, organized by the Prince Albert II Foundation under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness the Sovereign Prince, will take place on Saturday 12 January 2013 (before its official release in cinemas on 16/01) at Le Sporting Cinema, for around 400 guests.
To make learning fun, the American branch of the Foundation has developed 20 "Fun Facts" on the subject of marine animals and corals, in association with the Oceanographic Museum and Monaco Scientific Centre. These amusing educational anecdotes for children can now be downloaded from the web site of the Consulate General of Monaco in New York (www.monaco-consulate.com/pa2f/funfacts). They are also available on several other web sites, including Monaco Tourist Office in New York (www.visitmonaco.com/us), the Prince Albert II Foundation (www.fpa2.com) and the Scientific Centre (www.centrescientifique.mc).
