Laurent Vandenameele has been appointed new Executive Chef of the Muse and l'Intempo restaurants
The Méridien Beach Plaza is welcoming its new Executive Chef, Laurent Vandenameele. Laurent Vandenameele is a globe-trotting chef, originally from France, who has worked in Dubai and Budapest and is now settling in Monaco.
His classical French training taught him to respect the ingredients and gave him a taste for authenticity. He is passionate about design, and likes to combine his love of pared-back style with his dishes, so as to show the ingredients at their best, particularly fish, which he enjoys cooking.
Following the retirement of his predecessor, Bernard Cuq, Laurent Vandenameele is now in charge of the kitchens at the Méridien Beach Plaza. In addition to the two restaurants supervised by chef Jimmy Desrivières, L’Intempo and Muse, it also has a Banqueting section for gala dinners, wedding receptions and other events.
