For the third consecutive year, the Monaco Government Tourist Office in New York has been named one of the world’s best International Official Tourist Organizations and will receive a prestigious Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings.
For the third consecutive year, the Monaco Government Tourist Office in New York has been named one of the world’s best International Official Tourist Organizations and will receive a prestigious Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings. As a recognized mark of excellence for meeting destinations, the 2013 Pinnacle Award winners were chosen by the readers of Successful Meetings via online ballots for doing an outstanding job servicing their meetings, incentive travel programs, trade shows and conventions during the previous year.
Cindy Hoddeson, Director, Meeting and Incentive Sales said the award recognizes Monaco’s dedication to sustainable tourism and the corporate social responsibility initiatives undertaken by the team in New York. “This distinction also rewards the many initiatives encouraging social responsibility and business promotion developed each year by our office in collaboration with the Consulate General of Monaco in New York and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s (for the environment) US chapter.”
She also cited the support from the Monaco Government Tourist Office in New York to enhance group programs as one of the many reasons Monaco received the Pinnacle Award. “Among the many tangible reasons for meeting planners to rank Monaco so highly includes our US dollar-guaranteed meeting and incentive packages, as well as VAT reclamation on housing, food and beverage,” she said.
The Pinnacle Award earned a reputation as the most credible and prestigious symbol of excellence among meeting planners and hoteliers alike. 2013 marks the 29th year the Pinnacle Awards have recognized Hotels, the 23rd year that Pinnacle has included the efforts of CVBs and NTOs and the 17th year of Conference Center Awards.
Readers of Successful Meetings – professionals who are decision makers for planning meetings, events, conferences, and incentive programs– voted for the winners of the Pinnacle Awards via online ballots and gave feedback based on their professional experiences worldwide for the top hotels, conference centers, and CVBs. The 2013 Pinnacle Award Winners will be listed in the August Pinnacle Registry in print and online atwww.successfulmeetings.com/pinnacle.
