Death is always unbearable. But how can words express the loss of a mother of three children? Odile Firmin-Guion, our colleague and friend at the Hôtel Métropole, passed away on Wednesday evening.
First of all, we were overcome by a sense of deep sadness, disconcerted by death "in the midst of life," and then our astonishment was followed by the senselessness of her tragic death.
Odile's memory will live on in our hearts forever as an "invisible presence." May her energy, elegance and altruism guide us from now on.
We send our sincerest condolences to her family and those close to her, and especially to her three young children, in the hope that they may overcome the insurmountable.
