The Superheroes are returning to Monaco for the 5th edition of MAGICSaturday 9 March, Grimaldi Forum Monaco
As every year, visitors can attend talks, autograph-signing sessions and live drawing sessions on the themes of manga, video games, comics, animation and cinema
For the 2019 edition, several special guests will be present including:
- Jimmy Palmiotto, best known as the writer of the Harley Quinn comics with his partner Amanda Conner, also making a guest appearance
- Chris Claremont, writer of the X-Men comics
- Leiji Matsumoto, Japanese manga and anime artist, whose creations include Albator
- Kazuki Takahashi, best known for his manga, Yu-Gi-Oh!
There will also be a grand cosplay tournament involving 16 participants from 15 countries, with the winner getting a trip for two to Japan. In addition, a video games creation competition will be held, with a star prize of €100,000, and a manga-based contest will see the winner get the chance to meet Kazuki Takahashi and perhaps work alongside him for a year.
