Fourth edition of the artmonte-carlo art fairFrom Friday 26 to Sunday 28 April 2019, Grimaldi Forum Monaco
Following the success of Artgenève, Palexpo launched artmonte-carlo in 2016, a fair dedicated to contemporary art and design.
In 2019, the 4th edition at the Grimaldi Forum will bring together numerous carefully chosen international galleries including Gagosian, Almine Rech, Blain|Southern, kamel mennour, Perrotin, Marlborough Contemporary, Mitterrand, Tornabuoni Art, Franco Noero, Continua, and Air de Paris. This year will see new galleries make their first appearance, such as White Cube, 303 Gallery, Raffaella Cortese, Mazzoleni and Skopia.
Also this year, PAD Monaco will be launched, hosting 30 of the most important galleries in the worlds of design, decorative arts and tribal art in the Diaghilev space at the Grimaldi Forum, which will be linked to artmonte-carlo by a new section of 10 monographic exhibitions presented by galleries, each highlighting a different artist.
In addition, visitors to the Verrière at the Grimaldi Forum will be greeted by an installation by Anna Boghiguian, generously loaned by the Silvia Fiorucci Roman collection.
Art will not be limited to the Grimaldi Forum, with Le Nouveau Musée National de Monaco hosting "Ombre d’azur, transparence", an exhibition by Ettore Spalletti.
