Photography Exhibition at the Jardin Exotique de Monaco

“Primates in Danger” by Perrin de Vos, until 29 September 2013

Perrine de Vos, a veterinarian who is passionate about primatology and photography, offers a selection of portraits of gorillas and chimpanzees that she encountered during her many visits to Cameroon.

Since 2002 the artist has been involved in various organisations that work to protect endangered species in different regions of the world.

The selected photographs present portraits of primates that were rescued, often when very young, and reintroduced into groups in order to recreate a situation close to life in the wild. Beautiful and deeply emotional images clearly demonstrate the passion of Perrin de Vos for great apes and her talent for the art of portraiture.

All money raised by the exhibition will be given to the Ape Action Africa centre.
