Sportsboat Winter Series is a winter programme of races in five acts for two types of one-design yachts, which come from all over Europe to train in the Bay of Monaco. The 36th Primo Cup – Trophée Credit Suisse, the highlight of the programme, will take place from 6 to 9 February 2020.
Alongside the Melges 20, ever faithful to the event since its inception, the J/70 is without contest the flagship series, with around forty boats expected to take part in this first act from 7 to 10 November on the Quai Louis II. With over 20 boats based in the Principality as part of the J/70 Monaco Class Association, it is one of the largest fleets in the Mediterranean. In the run-up to the world championships in this category, which will be held in Monaco in 2021, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is an ideal training opportunity.
