Fort Antoine is set to host the cultural highlight of the summer in the Principality. The traditional venue for summer events, this year the site will be celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its open-air theatre. To mark the occasion, the Prince’s Government is offering a series of free public performances, subject to available places (to book, please contact the Princess Grace Theatre ticket office*).

As part of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations, the Department of Cultural Affairs is organising two distinct special programmes. The Principality’s iconic cultural institutions will be in the spotlight from 8 July to 7 August, while the traditional theatre season will resume from 18 August to 4 September 2020.

A teacher and his classroom, with its desks and chairs, but without its pupils.
This play looks through the eyes of a teacher as he secretly tears into his absent pupils, with humour, madness, fantasy. All the things he wants to say but can't, we get to hear.

Based on real situations, with deft exaggerations and sometimes embellishments created by Geoffrey Rouge-Carrassat, author of this play. Inspired by his own experiences teaching in the suburbs of Paris.

Ticket office open.
Free places, subject to availability.
Book at the Princess Grace Theatre (in person only), 12 avenue d’Ostende, from Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 6.30 pm.
