Jean Cocteau Museum

Located at the foot of the old town of Menton, across from the covered market and by the sea, Musée Jean Cocteau Collection Séverin Wunderman opened in November 2011.

It presents the work of the poet on 2,700m2 and offers visitors two levels of exhibition space for the collections, an area for temporary exhibitions, an educational workshop, a cabinet d’art graphique, an area for documentary resources, a café and a boutique and bookshop.
The tour of the Museum continues with the Bastion, designed by Jean Cocteau from 1958 to 1963. It features the famous drawings of the Innamorati, the series of fantasy animals, as well as ceramics made in the Madeline-Jolly studio.

Open every day from 10am to 6pm, except Tuesday and 01/01, 01/05, 01/11, 25/12.
