Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health

Organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the 2021 edition will take place on Thursday 23 September under the presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, and for the first time the event will be held at the Prince’s Palace. The funds raised by the special auction will be donated to causes aimed at promoting biodiversity and the well-being and development of children.

These uncertain times have reminded us that Health is our most basic human right. They have also reminded us that time has come to listen to our Planet and to act individually and collectively.

To address these crucial challenges, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco will gather leading philanthropists, decision makers, artists and talents, great intellectuals and scientists to join forces during this prestigious event and launch the Foundation’s initiatives to bridge the widening gap between health and environment.

Protecting the Ocean and the Earth for the future of Humanity

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation was set up in 2006 with the aim to protect the environment and promote sustainable development at a local and global scale.  The Foundation focuses its efforts on three principal domains of action: climate change, biodiversity and water resources and funds projects in three main geographical regions: the Mediterranean Basin, the Polar Regions and the Least Developed Countries.
Thanks to the personal involvement of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the ongoing valuable financial support of like-minded environmentalists, NGOs, corporate partners and individuals, the Foundation achieved to conduct, since 2006, over 540 projects.
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has 10 foreign branches in the following countries:
France, United-States, United-Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Spain and China.
