First Organic Festival in Monaco
Chef Paolo Sari is organising "La Route du Goût" ("The Road to Taste"), to be held from 12 to16 October 2016
Paolo Sari, the chef at the all-organic Michelin-starred restaurant "Elsa," is organising an organic festival from 12 to 16 October 2016, showcasing local products and gastronomy and eco-friendly practices.
The focus of this charitable fundraising event will be on "Organic," "Sport" and "Ecology."
The programme includes:
A local producers' market on the Quai Antoine Ier;
Cookery competitions, demonstrations by leading chefs, and gala dinners.
With regard to sport:
tennis competitions open to both children and adults;
and a cooking at sea competition accompanied by a chef and a skipper.
This event is being held in support of a humanitarian project - the aim is to fund the construction of a hotel school in Madagascar.
