22nd Monte-Carlo Gastronomy Fair

From 24 to 27 November 2017 - A Style, A Taste

The 22nd "Monte-Carlo Gastronomy" fair will take place from 24 to 27 November at the Big Top in the Espace Fontvieille, Monaco – a delightful journey of delicious new taste discoveries and an irresistible invitation to the pleasures of the palate.

This exhibition of French and foreign gastronomy will offer gourmets, epicureans, the curious and food lovers a return to authentic tastes and local products.

For many years, this appealing trade fair has built its success not only on the quality of the products presented - the result of a rigorous selection of exhibitors - but also its wide variety of major events.

Every day, there will be numerous cookery demonstrations, broadcast on the show's Facebook account, by leading chefs from Monaco and the Côte d'Azur, who will reveal the secret of their prestigious recipes to visitors.

A special guest, French actress Marie Sophie-L., will be present on Friday 24 November from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 25 November from 4.45 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. and Sunday 26 November from 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

She is now the ambassador for a new culinary trend, Raw Food, which has been adopted by many Hollywood stars.
Not to mention the competitions that will take place during the show:

* The Food Writers' competition

* The Slow Food competition with the Slow Food Riviera Côte d’Azur Prizes and the Special Jury's Prize

In Monaco's Big Top, a gourmet getaway awaits visitors with discerning palates, who will be able to taste and purchase foie gras, truffles, caviar, chocolates, sweet treats, cheeses, salted meats, regional organic products from France and Europe, exotic fruits, jams, Champagne, Armagnac and wines and liqueurs from France, Italy and Europe from the producers' estates.

The highlight for foodies is a daily draw – a chance to win prizes of exhibitors' products or prestigious gifts such as a cooking class and oenology course at the Méridien Beach Plaza Monte-Carlo.

Once again, Monte-Carlo Gastronomy will be the watchword for an unmissable gastronomic event of authentic flavours, just a few weeks before the festive season.
