Monaco Anime Game International Conference
"MAGIC," the Monaco Anime Game International Conference, devoted to Manga, Comics, Animation, Video Games and Pop Culture, will be back on 27 February 2016 at the Grimaldi Forum
This one-day event covers several areas - Manga, Comics, Animation, Video Games and Pop Culture.
"MAGIC" offers several conference cycles and round tables with famous international games designers, producers, writers and illustrators, with full audience participation.
"MAGIC" is also an opportunity to attend a fashion parade and a special cosplay competition organised in association with BulleJapon, in the presence of the greatest performers in the sector.
Finally, "MAGIC" is the initiator of a major competition, which is unique in the world, to create video games, with a prize of 100,000 euros for the winner to invest in developing a new project.
The event will feature meetings, an opportunity to share ideas and accessibility for all!
"MAGIC" offers participants a chance to meet renowned guests such as the famous author of Cobra, Buichi Terasawa, the video game creator Shenmue Yu Suzuki and French electro house artist Kavinsky.
A major innovation for "MAGIC" this year will be two cosplay competitions. One of the competitions will take place in the presence of leading European performers, while the other is for keen amateurs.
For each category, there will be a prize of an Air France flight to Atlanta in the United States to attend the most highly sought-after convention – the Dragon Con.
"MAGIC" is a boost for the world of video games; it enables talented young people of tomorrow to make themselves known via the unique competition to create a video game, with a prize of 100,000 euros to develop their product.
The project will be judged by a jury of professionals, including the creative director of the HE SAW company, the author of comics Viktor Kalvachev, and French composer and sound designer Christophe Héral.
