9th Monte-Carlo International Show Jumping

The 2014 show jumping will take place from 26 to 28 June. The best riders in the world will take part in three days of competitions on Port Hercule

The Monte-Carlo Show Jumping consists of a series of jumps in an obstacle course on the Quai Albert 1er.   It has been part of the Longines Global Champions Tour summer circuit since its creation in 2006.

Each year, for the Monte-Carlo Show Jumping, Port Hercule is transformed into an equestrian arena.  The horses are kept on the port, and present an unusual spectacle – champions resting between events among the most beautiful yachts in the world.

The line-up is quite simply exceptional, and includes Scott Brash, No. 1 world champion and a member of the winning European and British Olympic teams and winner of the circuit in 2013.  His compatriot and World No. 2, Ben Maher, will also be taking part.

The line-up also includes the German rider Daniel Deusser (ranked No. 11 in the world) and recent winner of the World Cup, and Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander (world No. 22), the current leader of the provisional ranking in the Longines Global Champions following the first four Grand Prix.

Supporters of the French riders can cheer on Kevin Staut (world No. 9), winner of the 2012 Monte-Carlo Show Jumping, Roger-Yves Bost (world No. 16) and European Champion title holder, not forgetting Simon Delestre (world No. 18).

Between two events, spectators can stroll among the exhibitors' stalls, which will be set up by the training paddock, and rub shoulders with the show jumping champions.
