"A Dialogue between Art and Design" Exhibition in Monaco

The Marlborough Gallery is exhibiting a collection of unique jewellery created by artists from 21 March to 7 May 2014

The exhibition "A Dialogue between Art and Design" aims to establish and develop the nature of the visual dialogue between design objects and works of art, with the collaboration of designer Chus Burés and numerous renowned contemporary artists.

Its objective is to show a particular type of "ready to wear" art, and define the importance of the relationship between the designer's skills and the artist's inspiration.

Also on show are works by Getulio Alviani, Louise Bourgeois, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Sérvulo Esmeraldo, Carmen Herrera, Kcho, Julio Le Parc, Macaparana, François Morellet, Marie Orensanz, Fernando Sánchez Castillo, Santiago Sierra, Nicolas Schöffer, Francisco Sobrino, Jesús Rafael Soto, Luis Tomasello and Jacques Villeglé. 

In addition, this is an opportunity for the Marlborough Gallery to present works by artists who have never exhibited at the Gallery before.
