"The Exotic Garden Celebrates" in Monaco

An opportunity for children to (re)discover the Exotic Garden in a very festive setting

On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June 2017, children will be able to discover Monaco's Exotic Garden from a completely different angle. "The Exotic Garden Celebrates" ("Le Jardin Exotique en fête"), offered for the first time by the Council of the Commune and the staff of the Exotic Garden, under the leadership of its Deputy Delegate André J. Campana, is a new concept aimed primarily at families.

Many different activities will be available for children on presentation of the entrance ticket, including pony rides, mini-golf, giant wooden games and a make-up stand.  The highlight will be a grand treasure hunt (registration required) from 2 p.m. for 7 to 12 year-olds.

At the same time, two lectures (for a more informed audience) will also be presented in the Salle Marcel Kroenlein on Saturday 3 June - "Stapelias" ("Les Stapéliées") by Giuseppe Orlando (in French) at 2.30 p.m. and "The Greenhouse  and Cultivating Succulents" ("Ma serre et ma culture des succulentes") by Marc Beugin at 4.30 p.m.

Visitors will also be able to buy succulent plants, as two exhibitors will be present at the event and will be happy to give advice on caring for these plants.
