On Saturday 3 September, the Monaco USA Association will celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Liberation of Monaco in the Second World War with a special dinner and show featuring music from the 1940s.
The artists appearing on stage include the Lib Day Darlings, two artists from London's West End, who will recreate the atmosphere of the 1940s with wartime jazz songs that were originally performed by the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the StarDeck of the STARS'N'BARS. It will include a variety of entertainment, including a free tombola, a jive dance contest and prizes for the "best 1940s look."
The admission price of 15€ includes the 2-hour show and a glass of wine or beer or soft drink.

From 7 August to 11 September 2016, Laurent STROUK presents an exhibition by French painter Robert COMBAS at the GRIMALDI FORUM in MONACO.
Around a hundred major works produced in the 1980s and 1990s, drawn from private collections and public institutions, will be presented. They cover themes close to the artist’s heart: love, women, battles, religion, mythology, music, genre scenes, etc.
