The Galerie Carré Doré Monaco Presents the Exhibition "Us, You, Them" ("Nous, vous, eux")
Work by Polish artist Krzysztof Powalka is on show in Monaco from 18 November to 2 December 2014
Krzysztof Powalka was born in 1985. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and was awarded the title of "technician specialising in artistic glass" from the National School of Fine Art in Dabrowa Gornicza in 2005.
Krzysztof Powalka has adopted classical painting techniques. He creates large-format works in subdued colours and incorporates elements that are similar to Impressionism and Post Impressionism. Also, the use of composition and space in his works are reminiscent of the classical tradition of pre-Cubism.
