Kraftwerk 3-D in Concert at the Sporting Monte-Carlo

The Kraftwerk 3-D concert – combining music, video and artistic performance - will take place on 11 November 2015 at the Sporting Monte-Carlo

The multimedia Kraftwerk project was founded in 1970.  Just a few years later, the group became internationally renowned for their "sound paintings" and experiments using recording tapes, synthesisers and robotic voices.

Their vision of the future formed the soundtrack of the digital age.  Their compositions featuring technical innovations, synthesised voices and digital rhythms have had a major international influence on all musical genres, from Electro to Hip Hop and Synth Pop to Techno.  In their stage performances, Kraftwerk - Ralf Hütter, Henning Schmitz, Fritz Hilpert and Falk Grieffenhagen -  demonstrate their faith in the marriage of man and machine.

In 2012, Kraftwerk performed at the MOMA in New York before presenting a retrospective of their complete repertoire.  This successful performance opened the doors of the Tate Modern Turbine Hall in London, the Sydney Opera House, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin and the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.  In 2014, Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider were presented with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards.
